How to wear Springs Hottest Trend for Your Body Type: The Neon Pant!

FINALLY! The warm weather front is hitting NYC and is hopefully here to stay! With that,  your closets should definitely start coming to full bloom! With so many fun, attractive, and playful trends this season, NOW is the time to stock up on some of those cool Spring digs! One of my season’s favorites? The “Spring runway obsessed” Neon Pant!

The Neon Pant can be super intimidating, as are colors in general! Many people I have learned and most of my clients haven’t     even tried wearing bright colors-until I find myself literally force dressing them in a dressing room! Yes, this is true! However, the results have positively led them into a world they never knew; a brighter fashion world with more options…and more fun clothing and shoes to buy! And who doesn’t want that!? So grab those neon pants gals and find the shape  that works for you!

If you are boy-shaped:

*Find a pant that is cinched in at the waist, or a style I like to call “paper-bagged”. It has that effect that gives your body the illusion of having a bit more shape in your waist. Since the pants will come up a little higher than usual, this will also elongate your figure and slim you down instantly!

If you are curvy:
*It is all about finding the right balance in your head to toe look! A palazzo pant looks fantastic on a woman with curves! A palazzo pant is a wide leg pant that has a wide hem from the thigh all the way down to the ankle, so there is not one specific body area that the pant is accentuating, hence the “right balance”.

If you are tall:
*The right pant for a tall girl can be of a variety of options. Since there is a lot of length to work with, the choice of pant can be based on personal preference and whatever strikes your fancy. Straight legs, boot cuts, wide legs, and capri's, all look great on tall women! It is all about finding the pant that balances out your lengthy frame, all while maintaining your slenderness. Just be careful! Sometimes, certain cut pants on tall girls can make their legs look shorter than they are! Make sure to keep in mind that  you want to accentuate those stems!

If you are petite:

*Skinny legs and wide leg styles work best because they add length to any petite frame! This trend is wonderful for petite women since neon colors gives the illusion of instantly longer legs, and in this case, an instantly longer body in general! Play up your height even more by combining an amazing pair of super high heels!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week enjoying this exceptional weather!

Cynthia Rowley FW12 Fashion Show

Cynthia Rowley for Band Aid Spring Beach Sport Kit

Megan Hilty from SMASH!

HAPPY FASHION WEEK EVERYONE!!

Last night I attended the Cynthia Rowley FW12 fashion show! Before the show, on behalf of BAND-AID® Brand, there was a special backstage reception, where we got the first sneak peek of the newest product from BAND-AID® Brand and Cynthia Rowley—the Beach Sport Kit, which will be available this Spring.  Being a Band Aid/Cynthia Rowley Ambassador during last  season's fashion week, I was excited to see the new, fun prints that Cynthia had in store for all of us stylish gals with boo boo's. Cynthia made an appearance at the reception and was excited and eager to speak with everyone.

Inside the show there was a 120 ft. PIP media wall that showed each girl as they walked down the runway. It was definitely very "of age" and added a modern feel. I absolutely loved it! In the runway pamphlet, what inspired the collection were "mechanics, cobblers, and leathermen. Welding, Oil slicks. Women artists making big, strong work, e.g. Josephine Meckseper's upcoming oil rig insallation, Rachel Feinstein's carriages. Tough stuff vs. jewels."  It's amazing what inspires the fashion obsessed, right!?

So industrious-chic!

Sending a huge glamorous hug to my girl Jill Metzger for thinking of me :)

Have a FAB weekend everyone!!

LINDSI'S SAG AWARDS STYLISH TOP 5!

I hope everyone is having a nice Monday!

These five exquisite and talented ladies won over my heart for Best Dressed of the night last night at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards! I hope that everyone had the chance to watch as actors were honored for their outstanding performances in television and film! These ladies rocked their looks with confidence and sex appeal!

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji: winning best supporting actress for The Help, she couldn't have looked more deserving of her award! The waist cinching skirt complimented all of her most curvaceous attributes, slimming her down in all the right areas! SHE IS SUPER TALENTED AND SUCH A BEAUTY! SUCH A FAN!

Lea Michele in Atelier Versace: super form fitting and HOT HOT HOT!

Glenn Close in Zac Posen: the tulle and taffetta gown couldn't have been a more perfect fit; and I mean that all around! Staying age appropriate and glamorous, Glenn knocked it out of the park with this one, hitting all the right body parts! The scrunched tulle arms add that extra "look at me!" to the dress!

Rose Byrne in Elie Saab: I have a serious girl crush on her! She is so glamorous in the most different of ways and just so cool! As jumpsuits can sometimes be tricky or unflattering, kudos to Elie Saab for this design (I mean, she is ALWAYS a Goddess anyway)! And kudos to Rose Byrne for rocking that extra confidence in  making a sexy, bold fashion statement!

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture: being one of my MOST favorite style icons, I am always bias when it comes to her styling because our taste seems to be extremely similar. Always stepping outside of the box and willing to take a fashion risk, Zoe didn't seem to disappoint...yet again! SERIOUSLY LOVE HER! <3
