Mila Kunis looked ravishing in a Lilac lace and chiffon Ellie Saab Haute Couture gown

Mandy Moore looked tres chic in this delicate gown by Monique Lhuillier

Jennifer Hudson looked as radiant as this tangerine colored Atelier Versace dress! And WOW she has never looked leaner and so fit!

Scarlett Johansson's plum lace Dolce and Gabbana had to be one of my favorite dresses of the whole night! She looked to die for and her makeup was flawless-the perfect compliment to her incredible dress!

Michelle Williams portrayed old Hollywood glamour, looking effortlessly beautiful. Her dress was by Chanel Haute Couture...so classy.

Reese Witherspoon in Armani Privé epitomized perfection, with her her classic dress and fun, flirty extension ponytail.

Ohhhh Gwyneth Paltrow! In a Calvin Klein Collection platinum sequin gown, she left me breathless!

Academy Award winner for Best Actress in Black Swan, Natalie Portman played the winning part in this Rodarte gown!

Halle Berry rocked this Marchesa gown with so much confidence! This was also a dress I could not take my eyes off of! She looked like a dream!

FORD Beauty Suite Journal

Hi Everyone!

For the past 2 days, FORD artists have been working the FORD Fashion Week Beauty Suite, pampering some of the most influential people in the world of fashion, glamour, and NYC. FORD decided to write a newsletter for the event (this is FORDS 2nd Fashion Week Beauty Suite) so that all the attendees could get to know the FORD artists on a more personal level, while getting their nails, makeup, and hair done. When my agent called and told me that a photo from a shoot I styled made the cover of the newsletter, I nearly jumped out of my seat! If that wasn't nearly enough, Ezra, an amazing photographer/friend I worked with on the shoot was featured in the article with all the photos I styled splashed onto the next page (see above!).

Each and every artist at FORD is super talented and I am SO honored to be part of such a strong team of passionate people.  To have made the cover being the newest member to the Fashion Stylist team, I couldn't be more appreciative to my agents at FORD for believing in me since day 1. So, what's next? Only the sky is the limit, right?

makeup makeover

my old ways...

my new ways...

The New Year calls for new ways of simplifying your life! I for one, as much as a clotheshorse, am also a makeup junkie at heart! I can spend hours upon hours in  Sephora spending an obscene fortune  just to get home and think "did I really need all of this!?" I mean, I'd be lying if I said walking into Sephora or the  makeup section of Bergdorfs, Barneys, and Saks did not give give me heart palpitations! Every girl has been there, done that-and you know it! So when we have these moments of weakness and we will tell ourselves we will eventually wear what we bought, storing makeup properly will and CAN save you so much time when getting all dolled up.

The hanging cosmetic bags I used to believe were the easiest ways to view and store my makeup...until I had no where to hang any of them anymore (I am embarrassed to say that I left 2 out-all filled with makeup) and all my new purchases were overflowing out of their assigned pouches and it was just getting to be a mess! Aside from that, to dig around in the bags were getting time consuming on my time crunch schedule and frustrating to say the least!

VOILA! CHANGE!
Since I am a neat freak, the Container Store has always been my go-to for any of my household storage needs.  The boxes above come in so many different sizes, colors, and shapes so you can customize to your liking. You can layer as many boxes as you like and everything gets stored neatly and in place.

An added bonus to what will be your new set up: Easy cleaning! Unlike the hanging bags which you may need to throw out every so often, these plastic containers are easy to wipe down and will stand the wear and tear of the makeup obsession!
